Is this what you think of when someone says daiquiri ? If not, then you should!
- 2 oz premium white rum (we used #plantationrum 3 star)
- 3/4 oz FRESH squeezed lime juice (always use fresh… it’s so easy!)
- 1/2 oz simple syrup (equal parts hot water and cane sugar whisked or shaken until sugar is all blended)
Place all ingredients in a shaker with 1/2 cup of crushed ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a cocktail coupe and garnish with a lime wedge or wheel.
